A new chapter for Nottingham

After 25 years of neglect, the shape of a diverse, new community for Nottingham is beginning to emerge

Now open

1 The Island Quarter

Our new all-day, canal-side destination with restaurants, bars and extensive events space is now open. Led by chef patron Laurence Henry - winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2018 - expect locally sourced ingredients, live-fire cooking and the best of British menus. We've also scheduled a programme of live entertainment, so there's always something on at 1 The Island Quarter. We can't wait to welcome you.

Opening 2024

Student Accommodation

Plans have been approved for an up-to-12-storey, 693-bed purpose-built student development, featuring blocks dedicated to a range of accommodation types including studios and cluster living. The accommodation will include sky lounges with views across the city as well as a pavilion and private courtyard for working, exercising, meeting and dining.

Opening 2026

Hotel & Residential

Across the development, we're creating a mixture of short-stay hotel accommodation, and innovative long-stay home-from-home residences providing connected and city living for the changing needs of today’s travellers. The hotels will be delivered in partnership with IHG; the building will include 223 bedrooms and suites, as well as additional residential rental apartments, a 100-metre long forum for people to meet, eat and drink and 3,000 sqm of flexible serviced office space.
