Conygar launches tree pledge for a greener city

The Conygar Investment Company PLC has committed to planting one tree for every signature as part of its new tree pledge, helping create a green city and county for future generations.

Starting from November’s Nottingham Partners Members’ Lunch, attendees at The Island Quarter’s events will have the opportunity to pledge a tree by leaving their signature on the form provided

The trees will be planted on The Island Quarter, or in locations across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Richard Watson, project delivery lead for The Island Quarter, said “We are committed to making The Island Quarter one of the UK’s most sustainable developments – a 36-acre development, abundant green space and built using sustainable construction practices.

“Working closely with Nottingham City Council, we are supporting the city’s Carbon Neutral Nottingham 2028 commitment.

To show your support, simply add your signature to our pledge and a tree will be planted in your name or your organisation’s name.”
