One of the biggest city centre regeneration schemes in the UK has moved a step closer today (24 July) as a planning application for the first phase of The Island Quarter development is submitted to Nottingham City Council.
THE DEVELOPER behind The Island Quarter, one of the largest regeneration schemes in the UK, has unveiled the opening phase of the site – which shows the exciting beginnings of Nottingham’s new community.

NOTTINGHAM is on the cusp of creating “possibly the biggest regeneration scheme in the UK” as outline plans to transform the high-profile 40-acre former Boots Island site have been approved this week (17 April) by Nottingham City Council planning committee.
MEMBERS of the public are invited to learn more about the plans to develop Nottingham’s 40-acre former Boots Island site at a two-day event on 11, 12 September.
