One of the biggest city centre regeneration schemes in the UK has moved a step closer today (24 July) as a planning application for the first phase of The Island Quarter development is submitted to Nottingham City Council.

PLANS to transform the former Boots Island site have taken a step forward as the developer behind the scheme begins work to clear the site.
NOTTINGHAM is on the cusp of creating “possibly the biggest regeneration scheme in the UK” as outline plans to transform the high-profile 40-acre former Boots Island site have been approved this week (17 April) by Nottingham City Council planning committee.
